Afrina Arfa is the Founder and Editorial Director of Migrant Times in Malaysia, focusing on migration, labour mobility, and ASEAN development. She also works with the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia through Financial Link Sdn. Bhd., and previously served at the Office of YB Wong Chen, Member of Parliament. Andrew William John Nathaniel is Executive Chairman of Anak Muda Amankan Nusantara (AMAN), a diaspora-led movement and think tank advancing Indonesia’s economic development. Her research focuses on ASEAN–major power relations, Indo-Pacific geopolitics, regional multilateralism, and maritime security. Thaís Dória is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, where she holds the Chancellor’s International Scholarship. Her research examines positionality and agency in the foreign policy discourses of Brazil, South Africa, and Indonesia, combining content analysis of official speeches with interviews of foreign policy practitioners. She is affiliated with the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation and has held visiting fellowships at Monash University and Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia.
