Foreign Policy Talks is pleased to announce an open call for delegates to participate in the inaugural China–ASEAN Youth Dialogue with Young China Watchers Hong Kong.
This initiative marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at connecting young professionals across different geographies who share an interest in the evolving dynamics of China and ASEAN.
Amid growing geopolitical uncertainty and global turbulence, the dialogue seeks to provide an informal yet substantive platform for young analysts and practitioners to exchange insights, build networks, and engage in candid discussion beyond rigid institutional settings.
The dialogue will follow a structured yet interactive format centred around the following theme:
How Global Turbulence Impacts China–ASEAN Relations |
The discussion will also draw on findings from the Southeast Asia Survey 2026, particularly in examining how regional perceptions of China and the United States may be evolving amid recent geopolitical developments.
Foreign Policy Talks will select ten delegates to participate in the dialogue, ensuring a high level of intellectual exchange and analytical rigor.
