Foreign Policy Talks at Conference on Indonesia Foreign Policy 2025

Foreign Policy Talks attended the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) 2025, organized by the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia at Kota Kasablanka in Jakarta on Saturday, 29 November 2025. Framed as Indonesia’s biggest festival of diplomacy, CIFP gathers students, diplomats, policymakers, business leaders, journalists, and foreign policy enthusiasts from across Indonesia and abroad for a full day of discussions on global and regional affairs.

This year, CIFP carried the theme “Preparing for the Next World Order: Indonesia, the Global South and the West,” inviting participants to reflect on how shifting power balances, new economic centres, and rising states in the Global South will shape the next generation of international order and Indonesia’s place in it.

The Foreign Policy Talks team attended CIFP 2025 to follow the discussions and keep in touch with the broader foreign policy community.
