On 2 March 2024, FPCI Chapter UPH held its first-ever SENI BATIK (Series Mini Bahas Politik), featuring Thomas Noto Suoneto, Founder of Foreign Policy Talks, as the guest speaker. The session, titled “The Art of Indonesia’s Foreign Economic Policy,” explored how Indonesia’s foreign policy intersects with its economic priorities and broader development goals.

Speaking to a vibrant group of students eager to understand the links between diplomacy and economic strategy, Noto shared practical insights on how Indonesia navigates global challenges while pursuing growth and partnerships abroad. The discussion highlighted the evolving nature of Indonesia’s international engagement and the importance of fostering policy literacy among young people.

The event was met with enthusiasm and thoughtful participation, setting a strong foundation for the SENI BATIK series as a new platform for political and foreign policy discussions. Foreign Policy Talks congratulates FPCI UPH on this meaningful initiative and looks forward to seeing more of these conversations flourish in the future.
