We are pleased to announce that Foreign Policy Talks will be holding its monthly discussion based on the research report “Identifying Gaps and Exploring Opportunities in AOIP and FOIP Synergy Efforts.” The discussion will explore the opportunities and challenges of aligning ASEAN’s Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) and Japan’s Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) vision in an increasingly competitive Indo-Pacific region.

The discussion will be held on Saturday, 27 June 2026, at 13:00-14:30 Jakarta Time (GMT+7) through an online meeting platform. We are delighted to welcome Calvin Khoe, the author of the research report and visiting fellow of JFSEAP 2026, as our speaker. The session will be moderated by Michael Tomasoa and Felix Patrick from the Board of Foreign Policy Talks.
