We were honored to welcome Willson Cuaca, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of East Ventures, as our final mentor for the International Relations for Business Academy 2.0.

A firm believer in the potential of Indonesia and Southeast Asia’s digital economy, Willson led a session titled “Be a Global Game-Changer: Navigating Strategy and Influence in International Business.” He shared valuable insights on what it truly means to be a business leader, why building and promoting Indonesia’s narrative on the global stage is essential, and how to connect international developments with strategies at home.

Willson also spoke about the importance of combining strategic foresight with adaptability—qualities that enable leaders to thrive in the rapidly evolving global landscape. His reflections drew from East Ventures’ journey as a pioneering venture capital firm that has backed some of Indonesia’s most successful startups, including Tokopedia, Traveloka, and Ruangguru.

One of the most valuable aspects of the IR for Business Academy remains its intimate mentorship setting, where mentees can engage in open, candid discussions with mentors. This environment allows each participant to connect lessons from the sessions to their own professional journeys—making every exchange deeply personal and transformative.

With this inspiring session, we officially conclude International Relations for Business Academy 2.0, leaving our participants enriched, inspired, and ready to apply what they have learned to shape Indonesia’s future on the global stage.
