We had an energizing second session of the International Relations for Business Academy 2.0, where young professionals and students with international relations backgrounds explored how to translate their global knowledge into real-world business practice.
Our mentor for the day, Fify Manan, shared valuable lessons from her extensive career in export-import and international partnerships, particularly with the United States. Her insights on recent tariff developments and their implications for Indonesia’s trade landscape sparked engaging discussion and critical reflection.
For many of the female participants, learning directly from a pioneering Indonesian businesswoman like Bu Fify was deeply inspiring. Her journey and leadership in a traditionally male-dominated sector stood as a testament to what can be achieved with confidence, competence, and a global perspective.
The session was marked by lively dialogue, thoughtful questions, and an encouraging atmosphere—making it a meaningful and empowering experience for all involved.
