We are sharing a new opportunity from Monash University Indonesia that may be relevant for members of the Foreign Policy Talks Talent Pool.


Monash University Indonesia is recruiting a Partnership for Australia-Indonesia Research (PAIR) Sulawesi Program Manager (Job No. 495126), a full time, 18 month fixed term position based in Jakarta through December 2027, with a monthly gross salary of IDR 39,513,600 to 49,987,350 (HEW Level 08).


This role will lead the end to end delivery of the Australia Indonesia Centre’s DFAT funded Partnership for Australia Indonesia Research (PAIR) Sulawesi program, working closely with the Program Chief Investigator and stakeholders across Australia and Indonesia to ensure program outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

The position covers operational planning, budgeting and reporting, oversight of deliverables, procurement and contract management, risk management, and leadership of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, while maintaining strong partnerships and team performance.


The role is suited to candidates with postgraduate qualifications or equivalent extensive experience and a strong record managing large scale, government funded or DFAT related programs, alongside strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills.
