Seksan Anantasirikiat

Seksan Anantasirikiat is currently Senior Researcher at the International Studies Center (ISC) and Director of Public Relations, Korean Association of Thai Studies. He also serves as member of Foreign Affairs Sub-Committee, Thai Journalists Association, member of the Sub-Committee of International Affairs, The Press Council of Thailand, Social Media Coordinator, Journal of Public Diplomacy, and Advisor to the Regional Studies Association in Thailand.

Seksan received Bachelor of Arts (Political Science, Honors) from Chulalongkorn University and Master of International Studies (International Cooperation, Honors) from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea with support from the Korea Foundation (KF)-ASEAN Fellowship Program. Before joining the ISC in 2020, he worked as academic officer at the ASEAN Studies Center, Chulalongkorn University, and researcher at the Non-Government Think Tank for National Strategies (Klang Panya).

His research interests cover Korean and ASEAN studies, public diplomacy, and national strategy for middle and small powers. Seksan contributed chapters for ASEAN Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture in a Green Economy: Cross-Sectoral and Interdisciplinary Perspectives (edited by Wayne Nelles, 2014), Korea’s Public Diplomacy (edited by Kadir Ayhan, 2016), Korea’s Soft Power and Public Diplomacy (edited by Kadir Ayhan, 2017), and South Korea’s New Southern Policy (edited by Lam Peng Er, 2023). He also wrote commentaries on various topics related to public diplomacy for the University of Southern California Center on Public Diplomacy.
